Dr. DeJaynes then worked as an emergency veterinarian before purchasing a clinic with his wife (also a veterinarian) in Wisconsin. After selling their clinic in 2018, he remained on as a medical director prior to moving back to Iowa to be closer to family. Since returning to Iowa, Dr. DeJaynes has served as a Regional Medical Director and an associate veterinarian.
Dr. DeJaynes and his wife have a young daughter and son, which keeps them very busy. Away from work, he and his family enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors, whether it be\ hiking, biking, or playing at parks. In his personal time, Dr. DeJaynes enjoys staying physically active, reading, golfing, and watching sports.
His professional interests lie in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. His goals are to always be understanding and compassionate and to provide the best level of care possible.
