Tessa is a Veterinary Assistant who graduated from Iowa State University in 2025 with a degree in Animal Science. She has always had a passion for working with animals, and her education provided a strong foundation in animal health, behavior, and overall care.
Compassionate, patient, and hardworking, Tessa loves being part of a team that helps pets feel their best while supporting their families. She strives to make every visit as stress-free and positive as possible. Detail-oriented and dependable, she is always looking for ways to continue learning and growing in the veterinary field.
Outside of work, Tessa is a proud pet parent to her two dogs, Millie and Ledger, and her cat, Poppy. Millie and Ledger keep her busy, and she enjoys taking them on long walks and training them in agility, obedience, and scent work. Working with her pets has strengthened her understanding of behavior, communication, and the human-animal bond—one of the many reasons she is so passionate about veterinary medicine.
